Transport Director Job Description

Missions

• Assures the transport optimization in the respect of the cost / quality / lead-time balance
• Oversees and coordinates all staffs in charge of the transport organization (exploitation, chartering, and docks).
• Manages 3PLs (transports)
• Follows up service level, costs and invoicing of 3PLs
• Implements continuous improvement plans.
• Supervises a team

Required training/education

• A-level+3
• University Degree in Logistic Management and Transport,
• Specialised transport schools

Required qualities

• Foreign languages if international
• Negotiation ability
• Stress management
• Team management
