Logistics Director Job Description

Missions

Conceives the logistic strategy with a quality / service / cost optimization constant concern
Exercise management and coordination functions with various company functions (mainly commercial department, purchasing, manufacturing, finance…)
Conceives and animates costs, stocks and lead-times reduction projects as well as the customer service improvement.
Follows up 3PL’s quality and costs.
Assure the follow-up of supply activities (national and import), of warehousing and distribution, of upstream and downstream transports
Follows up the profitability and logistic costs dashboard (set of KPI) and establishes required action plans for the logistic objectives achievement.
Organize his team’s work.
